We are very grateful to everyone at Nu-Trend Construction for donating a pair of tickets to see the Raptors play. The tickets are being offered in a silent auction which ends Friday January 17 at 3pm.
This is a great opportunity for Raptor fans to see the game up close and personal!
The silent auction is in support of our On Your Mark Tutoring and Mentoring program which has been providing free tutoring to students in grades 1 to 12 for more than 20 years. On Your Mark is powered by an incredible group of 160+ volunteers who meet every week with students from October until May.

We at the Working Women Community Centre are heartbroken by the tragic events that took place during the Lapu Lapu Day Block Party in Vancouver. Our hearts are with the victims, their families, and the entire Filipino community. No one should ever feel unsafe. We condemn violence in all its forms and reaffirm our commitment to fostering a community rooted in respect, safety, and solidarity. We offer our sincerest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. Let’s continue to uplift and support one another.
